By Chinese tradition, Li Xin began his medical training at the age of nine, as he is the tenth generation heir to his family’s medical lineage.  He graduated at the top of his class at Heilongjiang Medical School and eventually became the Chief Doctor of the Acupuncture Department at Beijing's acclaimed Red Cross Hospital. There he administered inpatient and outpatient care throughout the 1,000-bed hospital, acted as a senior supervisor, and participated in the training and overseeing of hundreds of medical doctors in acupuncture. 

Through the 1990′s a number of Dr. Zhang’s medical research studies were published, and in 1993 he was appointed as chief consultant to the Chinese Family Doctors Association. Distinguished in his field for miraculous treatment results, Dr. Zhang was also featured in both the Chinese national press and television as “Acupuncture of Gods”.

Upon relocating to the United States and opening Lixin Acupuncture Clinics, he also spent a number of years as a professor at the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine, where he served as a lecturer and supervisor/trainer for acupuncture students in the school clinic.

Dr. Li Xin specializes in pain disorders and neurological conditions, such as stroke rehabilitation. His most notable specialty is treating and curing chronic conditions, such as hypertension, asthma, arthritis, high blood sugar, etc. and relieving people of the lifelong medication dependency that is associated with them.
